  Mobility System

Vivax provides a revolutionary new mobility system that enables a single caregiver to transfer a patient weighing up to 500 pounds between bed and a specially designed wheelchair.

As a nurse, you believe that getting your patient out of bed is an essential part of their recovery. You'd stake your back on it.
Vivax Introduces the Vivax Mobility System, a single solution to many complications associated withthe immobile patient. Its unique automatic transfer function makes it easy for a nurse, attendant or in special situations the patient to easily and safely transfer between a full-function bed and an extra-wide wheelchair with a built in commode.

The benefits of mobilizing the patient to an upright position are immense, and patients such as the ventilator dependent can benefit greatly. Often this is difficult in practice because the patient has orthostatic hypotension, or poor endurance.

The Vivax Mobility System allows you to get your patient out of bed without exhausting their limited energy reserves and allows them to get into a full upright position gradually as tolerated. It also means that they can get out of bed and return to bed more frequently and for briefer periods since the transfer is so much easier. For your patient sitting up is a milestone on their road to recovery.

The Vivax Mobility System has a transfer conveyor system integrated into the bed frame which gently and safely moves the patient from the bed into a specially designed wheelchair and back again. A built in air support system provides true pressure relief and a low-shear comfortable bed surface.
